Fishers Farm come to visit EYFS

Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Reception M & W Year: 2023 - 2024

On the morning of Monday 20th May Fishers Farm came to visit our EYFS children to support their learning around this terms topic 'Animals'. We were visited by a pig, a calf, 3 kids (baby goats), 3 chickens, and baby rabbits (kittens) 

The children absolutely loved getting up cllose and personal with the animals and the Farmers commented on how well behaved they all were! They were also impressed with how much we knew about the animals but they also taught us some new information too - Baby rabbits are called kittens too and male goats are Billys and Female goats are Nannies.
