Manchester's Local Offer

The Local Offer is the term used for all the activities, services, advice and support offered by numerous organisations across the city specifically for children and young people (aged 0–25 years) with special educational needs and disabilities, and their families.

Families can visit  www.manchester.gov.uk/sendlocaloffer for information about things like, activities, their rights, short breaks, education, money and travel. 

There are also friendly, informal Local Offer drop-in events , which are a great way for parents/carers to:

• speak to services face to face
• meet other parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities
• get information and advice
• find out about local activities available for their child
