Science day 2019

Experiments, testing, investigating: all of these fantastic experiences went into our annual science day. Children from across the school got their chance to be the next Marie Curie, Dr Brian Cox or Stephen Hawking as they indulged in a fun filled, fact filled day.

The EYFS department learned about local scientist Dr Brian Cox, Year 5 were investigating the work of Sir Isaac Newton and Year 3 found about about codes and ciphers as they were focussed on another world-famous scientist with a Mancunian link: Alan Turing.

The children and staff enjoyed the activities and discovered more about the world around us.
