Using Lexia at home

Children who are using the Lexia software are encouraged to use this at home if they have the opportunity to. Lexia is a fun and effective aid to children's reading; it can also improve vocabulary skills. These are crucial to improving children's writing skills.

A number of children have been logging in at home and the improvements they are making in this important life skill is clearly evident.

Children who use Lexia at home will be rewarded as a result of this dedicated approach and I encourage all parents and carers to give your child as much backing as possible.

Each child has been given a letter showing how it can be accessed at home and if they need another copy, I'm happy to send one home.

The software is accesable through: the website (click on the above image); an iPad, and some Android devices.  It can also be downloaded, in full, onto a computer which means it doesn't rely on an internet connection.
