Extra homework

We are reluctant to give children extra homework - the amount given in class should be adequate for your child to make good progress. Please do read with your child every night, and practise times tables and spellings.

If you would still like to complete further work at home, you may find the following websites useful.

nrich.maths.org/ - a website with rich maths problems to explore and discuss.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/ks2/ - lots of games and puzzles to play, with tests of knowledge at the end.

http://www.lexiacore5.com/ - practice of phonics, word reading and sentence structure. Only for children who are currently using Lexia in school.
