Year 4 Art and Science

Class: Year 4 Year: 2020 - 2021

In Science, Year 4 have been learning about the human digestive system. After learning about where each part of the digestive system is, we watched a practical that re-created the journey of food through the body to learn about the function of each organ involved.

During our art lessons in Year 4, we have been exploring the life and work of the French artist Henri Matisse. Known as one of the founders of Fauvism, we created our own landscape paintings inspired by Matisse’s use of broad brush strokes and bright colours.
