Reception's visit to Beswick library

Lesson: EYFS

Class: Reception M & W Year: 2023 - 2024

This morning the children went on their walk to visit Beswick Library. The librarian introduced the children to the library, spoke about his job as a librarian and what the purpose of the library is! 

He read the children a story book then the children were able to spend some time to select their own books and read them with the support of the teachers and amazing volunteers, to which the trip would not have been possible without! 

Miss Millington was given a school book loan card and selected some non-fiction books which the children can enjoy back in school before reading one final story. 

The children were very well behaved and were a credit to the school and once again a big thankyou to our parent volunteers!
