Making Samosa's

Class: Reception M & W Year: 2022 - 2023

As part of our celebration topic in Reception on Friday we looked closely at Eid. The children learnt that Eid is celebrated by Muslims who follow the religion of Islam and how it marks the end of Ramadan, a time of fasting. We watched a video about how one little girl prepared and celebrated Eid with her family and our own pupils shared their own experiences too! After the lesson the children were all invited to come and make their own samosa’s; a traditional southern Asian delicacy.
