Let's Celebrate - Chinese New Year Dragon Dance

Lesson: Understanding the World

As part of our 'Let's Celebrate' topic in Spring 1, we learnt all about Chinese New Year and all the different ways it is celebrated all around the world. We tried some delicious food, read our special book called 'Lanterns and Firecrackers' and we ended it all by having a dragon dance all around the school playground whilst playing our special drums that the children had made! 

It was a little bit windy outside but that didn't stop our dragon from dancing!
