Chess Tournament

This week chess club members were very lucky to play in a chess match against Clare Mount Primary School, Moss Side.

Both schools are involved with the charitable organisation Chess4 Schools who actively encourage children to become involved in the game of chess.

Presently they teach our Year 3 children to play chess and run an after school club for aspiring chess players.

Through Chess4Schools a number of our pupils have been lucky enough to play in tournaments across Manchester.

All children involved were a credit to the school and had a wonderful afternoon.
